YCT 2 Vocabulary (Part 4)

In this YCT 2 Vocabulary (Part 4) infographic, there are ~30 words. We put these vocabulary in three groups.

 

The first group contains vocabulary about numbers, including

一 yī one,

二 èr two,

三 sān three,

四 sì four,

五 wǔ five,

六 liù six,

七 qī seven,

八 bā eight,

九 jiǔ nine,

十 shí ten,

两 liǎng two,

零 líng zero

 

The second group contains vocabulary about measurement words and nouns, including

个 gè used before nouns without special measure words of their own,

岁 suì used for age,

块 kuài piece,

只 zhī used for animals or things in pair

书包 shūbāo schoolbag,

猫 māo cat,

狗 gǒu dog,

鸟 niǎo bird,

鱼 yú fish,

熊猫 xióngmāo panda,

钱 qián money.

 

The third group contains vocabulary about manners, including

谢谢 xièxie to thank you;to thanks,

再见 zàijiàn to goodbye,

请 qǐng to please,

不客气 bú kèqi you’re welcome.

对不起 dùibuqǐ to sorry,

没关系 méi guānxi never mind.

 

Please note:

The vocabulary in black are the vocabulary from YCT 1.

The vocabulary in blue are the NEW vocabulary from YCT 2.

 

As we were making this infographic, we realized that there are many ways to organize the vocabulary. We’ve decided to arrange them in groups as a memory aid.
