HSK 1 Vocabulary (Part 1)
Are you preparing for HSK 1 (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi Level 1)? HSK translated as the Chinese Proficiency Test used in China is the standardized test of Standard Chinese language proficiency of China for non-native speakers such as foreign students and overseas Chinese. HSK 1 is the first test you should prepare. We believe in the power of visual learning. That is why we made this HSK 1 vocabulary series. There are six parts to this series. You can find all of them in this post below.
In this infographic, we have 30+ vocabulary, organizes into 2 groups.
Group One: Person or People
The first group contains vocabulary about persons or people, including 人,

他们 they (male+female /male, pl.),

Group Two: Vocabulary Related to Location
The second group contains vocabulary related to location, including
这儿 zhèr here,
那儿 nàr there,
医院 yīyuàn hospital,
商店 shāngdiàn store,
中国 Zhōngguó China,
北京 Běijīng Beijing,
饭馆 fànguǎn restaurant,
学校 xuéxiào school,
家 jiā home and
火车站 huǒchēzhàn train station.
We’ve added the preposition word “在 zài in, at” in between the two groups.

Hi Megan, thank you for your feedback. We will definitely keep making more infographics. We believe those are the great studying tools. However, the HSK tests are only provided in Chinese simplified version so far. For better preparation, it is better for learners to get used to this setting. It is good you study in traditional Chinese. You can answer either simplified or traditional Chinese! 🙂 Happy learning!!
